We are based in — but not limited to San Francisco, CA. We love working with clients whose top priority is quality cinematography for their wedding, quinces and other events. Given our experience, we understand the value of highlighting raw emotions with our cinematic style and go above and beyond in featuring those moments.
We are hands-on with each project because we do not want to leave our valued clients with an ordinary and uninspired film — meaning, you won’t find us, “just showing up and pressing record.”
That is the personal investment our clients get from choosing us over a company that prioritizes business over a relationship. Honestly, our main goal is to make our clients feel like they are the main characters in their own personalized movie.
MEET MILTON REYES
Growing up, I was extremely shy. I was pessimistic, unproductive and hated going to school. After getting my high school diploma, I felt like my life had stopped. I didn’t have any purpose or goals in life. Until I started acknowledging my passion for taking videos of beautiful views and evolved it into creating my own silly films.
In 2020, after discovering how passionate I was about filmmaking and movies, I started filming my brother at his photography sessions and slowly developed my editing skills for his Reels and TikTok videos. When it was time for me to shoot with my own camera, I noticed it was not just a random idea, but more like a talent. It was then when I saw my potential for making videos at his events.
Surprisingly, people started noticing it too and some were willing to pay me for my videos. So No-Charge videos turned into $500 videos and it kept increasing to the point where I could start investing in professional equipment. It was at that time that I felt confident enough to turn my hobby into a business, naming it Divine Mirror Films. From there, the Reels and TikTok videos transitioned into short films, highlight quinceañera videos, and amazingly wedding videos too. Now, I am proud to say that I can capture those memories and beautiful moments behind my camera for you and your loved ones.
MILTON & EVER
At this point, a lot of couples and quinceañeras want to work with me. The (good) problem with this though is that I began shooting full coverage events, video and photography! I wanted to shoot everything, but I just physically couldn’t. That’s when I decided to scale my business and partnered up with my brother's photography company Ever Ortiz Photos.
Couples and parents all around The Bay Area love our work so much, they are willing to get our best packages and still reassure us to capture their future events. Now that I have a big and trusted enough team, Divine Mirror Films is accountable for shooting whole coverages of weddings, quinceañeras, and other events.
